Second box pop up card

I'm not very happy with this card but it was worth it for me to learn. I wanted a longer box card and something pretty on the outside but it ended up being very fragile. So I will just use it as a decoration on my display. I put her on a swing and wanted to do vines around it but it didn't turn out the way I wanted.

Tea cup Pin Cushion and Gorjuss Box card

I've been itching to do this tea cup because my scrappy BFF made me these sticks pins a while ago but I never had anywhere to put them. So here I am making this finally. I found the cup at Goodwill for $2.99 and the rest was stuff I had at home. The center is a styrofoam ball covered with scrap fabric and lace from a curtain I had.

The card is a box pop up card. I've been into these different types of cards. I think once I learn now to make them all, it will be nice addition to mini albums and all the pages won't be so plain. Been loving the Gorjuss girls stamps. I cut the backing out from the elegant edges. Love love that cartridge.

DIY clay embellishments

Oh so much fun. My friend Sylvie had given me some of her Martha stewart crafter clays. And I loved it. So I wanted to try some myself. Then I remembered when I was still soaping I used something called Amazing Mold Putty. That stuff is amazing I tell you. . So I searched for it went to town making my own molds from various charms and doo daads that I had. This is what I came up with so far and I'm now coloring them. So much fun. The MS clay is very light so I went and got some sculpey clay. Between the two I really like the Sculpey clay better, but the MS had its benefits as well. The MS clay dries on its own and doesn't need to be baked like the sculpey. the MS is very light weight when dry which makes it harder (I think) to decorate. So here are some photos and a video of what I've done so far. Enjoy...

"Cherish" mini album for Cynthia

Here is a mini I did for a swap partner on Minialbumscraps.ning.com I had a lot of fun with it. She likes earth time colors and greens so this is what I came up with. Below is a video for further details ;)

New shoes

So these are actual new shoes that I bought just to alter. But I guess you could do them to your old shoes to have a new look for them. I bought these at old navy on clearance for $5 or so. Used some rosette trims and a glue gun. Wahla. But I think my next pair I might just do 3 flowers on each shoe. ;)
